Phony fans.
Just because the Knicks lost tonight, it doesn’t mean that they’re a bad team, or that it’s Jeremy Lin’s fault for not playing so well. He had a really good winning streak going for a while, but everyone should have known that it was bound to end sometime.
Everyone holds Lin at such a high standard which is probably why fans will think he let them down tonight. Honestly though, the Knicks played terribly as a WHOLE. Lin can’t be expected to do everything, and carry the team during all of their games. The Knicks’ defense was lacking tonight; they had way too many turn overs, and they were careless in general.
Basketball is a team sport, and from what I learned during high school, one player may be the best, but it’s the team effort that’ll get a win. It was a good game tonight, but there is no denying that the Knicks were lacking something.
Better luck next time, guys!
And for you supposed fans out there, don’t just support the Knicks because they’re winning, and then bash them (or just simply Jeremy Lin) when they lose. SHAME ON YOU!!!
Hype train hoppers!!
